In my own teaching experience I have found there has been a big discrepancy between e-learning in both international private school systems overseas and public government funded school systems in New Zealand. Sometimes these differences have been made even more obvious, and may also be influenced, to the fact the schools are in different countries, use different curriculums and have different objectives in their school. On the other hand there are schools whose e-learning approaches are very similar to the public schools that I have previously taught at.
